Our Story. Our Staff

A family story dedicated to gastronomic excellence

Founded in 2007 from the deep passion for wine of Giovanni and Giuseppina, the wine-shop quickly became a point of reference for connoisseurs in the food & wine sector.
In 2012, Giovanni and Giuseppina moved the business to its current, larger and more welcoming location — ideal for showcasing the wide range of products and providing visitors with a superior experience.
In 2022, the passing of Giovanni marked a passing of the torch: today, Matteo leads the business with dedication, supported by his brother Filippo and the constant presence of grandmother Giuseppina. The management by the two nephews has given the wine-shop an innovative and cheerful spirit, engaging people of all ages.
Each day, we offer à-la-carte lunch service with carefully curated pairings, and throughout our hours we offer the possibility to enjoy a glass of wine in perfect harmony with the specialties on display. To date, our wine selection comprises about 5,000 labels, spanning from the great classics to small emerging producers, with particular attention to Champagne (~400 references) and Tuscan wines. Not missing is a wide choice of spirits including rum, whisky and grappa, on which expert and personalised advice can be given.
Thanks to the young new impetus we explore new wine-related activities such as private tastings and evenings dedicated to sharing knowledge of viticulture, distillation and food products — all in a family-style and convivial environment, perfect for those who appreciate new tastes yet want to feel at home.

Giuseppina

Co-founder of the wine-shop alongside her husband Giovanni. She is the team’s reference point. Known as the “Queen of Christmas baskets”, her signature dish is Cacio e Pepe.

Matteo

Carries on the family tradition with passion. Specialist in spirits; he loves Burgundy and Champagne.

Filippo

Nephew of Giuseppina and Giovanni, he takes care of the boards (cheese & charcuterie) and spreads wine-culture. His motto? “Would you like to try something?”.

Andrea M.

Holder of a catering diploma and AIS sommelier, he selects the products and creates the menus. His advice? “Do it as if you would do it for yourself.”
